The PRP therapy process is initiated by drawing a small amount of the patient’s blood. The blood is passed through a centrifuge to separate the platelet rich plasma (PRP) from other components, after which, the PRP is injected back into the skin. What to Expect During a Treatment

Plasma treatments are completed in-office and usually take about 30-40 minutes. Before we commence the treatment, a numbing cream will be applied to your face, making the procedure fairly painless throughout. There may be some bruising and swelling within the first 3-4 days after the treatment, but this will resolve itself quickly.
